Alimo 1.2 is here
It’s been a couple of months in the making but the but the 1.2 update is here and it’s full of neat features, fixes and tweaks that we’re sure you’re gonna love.
We’ve covered in detail each feature in our “What’s New” section, but here’s a brief overview of the full change log:
Sparkling new Page Builder (Visual Composer) Elements by LayerBlend:
Alimo Posts Slider – allows you to easily create beautiful sliders of your favourite posts. With 4 layouts, multiple options to further customise each one, we’re sure it’s gonna be a hit.
Alimo Posts Listing – our amazing posts listing layouts are available as VC elements now, which means you can pick and choose which layout you want to use to list your posts and also combine them
Alimo Image Slider – a no-fuss, simple and clean image slider. That’s it.
Alimo Button – This little element packs a big punch. It allows you to have multiple styles, control hover and default colour and also set icons. Check out the feature article about it to learn more.
Default Page Builder Elements Power-ups
Row – added colour & gradient overlay, custom URL background video
Alimo Plugins Update:
Alimo Widgets – Fixed an annoying bug for the Author Widget that didn’t update the image
Alimo Shortcodes – The shortcodes for the above mentioned VC Elements
Alimo Demos – updated the main demo, added the new health & lifestyle demo. More to come
Alimo Options Panel Update:
Added more control for the header colours like the dropdown menu background colour, the drawer menu (mobile), alt logo for pages with transparent header
Post Featured image height is now configurable via the options panel.
The header box shadow switch allows you to toggle the header drop shadow. It’s disabled by default if the header is transparent – Ghosts don’t have shadows 🙂
One column Footer option – We missed that in the first releases, but saw that you guys were trying to achieve a one column look with the Above the Footer sidebar area. Now you can have both and play around with them as you wish.
Added the option to show post tags in article footer
Page options
Transparent header – as the name implies, it allows you to have a transparent header for the page you’re creating or editing. More details about this setting can be found in our features listing or you can just play around with it and see for yourself.
Post options
Transparent header – works in the same way as for pages, but for posts 🙂
Hide featured image – this was one of the most requested feature we’ve got, so we added it. You’ll find a neat toggle switch beneath the featured image of each edit post page.
Third Party Plugin Compatibility
We’ve updated the WooCommerce template files that Alimo overrides to comply with the latest version of WooCommerce and made some minor adjustments to the styling (mainly on the products listing page)
